Covington Cellars is a small production, boutique winery in the Warehouse District of Woodinville. Owners Cindy and David Lawson offer a warm friendly chat as they pour wines for tasting. They also make a mean BBQ sauce sold right there at the tasting room (and sometimes sample with meatballs). The winemaking focus is red wine, but they also offer a few white wines.
The tasting room is big enough for large groups, but call ahead with groups over 6 so they can have enough staff for wine pouring and sales. They have a resident chef and rent their facility for catered private events.
