Chateau Ste. Michelle is on my list for any group who has never visited Washington wine country. It's everthing you want a winery to be, grand, beautiful, wide variety of wines at different price points (something for everyone) and they are set-up to for regular tours of their wine production facilities. Ste Michelle also conducts a variety of different tastings, from tour and taste, to private taste, to full-on dinner or lunch event tasting. In the summer they host concerts with big name headliners (Elvis Costello, Dianna Krall, Chris Isaak, Lyle Lovett, etc) as well as the Auction of Washington Wines.

Of course, call ahead for large groups and private tours- but they welcome all. You can also have a corporate event in their facilities but they do not do weddings. Ste Michelle is optimal for large groups who want to make a visit to just one winery.
