Bookwalter Winery is a great place in the Tri-Cities to sit, relax, sip a glass of wine with light food and listen to live music. Surrounded by incredibly beautiful gardens and vineyards, the winery is a sancuary amid the rugged terraine of Eastern Washington.
Founded by Jerry & Jean Bookwalter back in the 80's, the winery has since been passed down to the next generation and is steeped in a long history of agricultural lineage. Son, John Bookwalter, created a hip oasis and strives to create ultra premium red wines to enjoy there.
The staff is great, they have a great variety of wines and can accommodate larger groups and private events. Even if you're a party of one, you should check this winery out. I like to bring groups here for lunch. People can linger or walk next door to Barnard Griffin or Tagaris if they are feeling restless.
